Where a browser restarts and is redirected to a random website, on browser close, is spy ware.  It could be more serious, I suggest you run a computer scan as soon as possible.  If you have the paid for version of AVG run that scan.

Spybot - Search & Destroy -       The home of Spybot-S&D!

also it would not hurt if you have not already, to download Spybot - Search & Destroy and run a scan of that.  When installing S&D you have the option to install something call TeaTimer, this is a very useful tool that if you want to work must be on at all times, it autostarts on system boot.  What it does is this, if something tries to edit the registry entries, such as when you are installing program, it asks you if you want this program to do this.  It is good to stop things altering your settings without your permission.

If it is nothing serious that will aid you significantly and help avoid future infections.  I suggest you stay away from insecure websites until you have suitable protection.  (Wow what does this sound like?...heh)

As for your other problem, can't help.  It is possible that you got enough score on your last game and you went up a honour.  Worst case, someone has your account.

Like Mouse said:

Get your virus scanner working
Get an anti-spy ware program running

For AAO check your name your tracking, your password, etc just to be sure.

If you have auto login turned on your brother may have used your account...or another family member...I know my dad use to do that to me ever once in a while....if not I'd change your password
